In the wonderful name of
Jesus, My name is Brother Shawn S. Heath,
and I would like to share with you what God has
done for me. He has delivered me from a life of
drugs and crime. He placed His shield of
protection around me, keeping me safe from harm
and danger during the six times that I went to
prison. I am a living testimony that is willing
to go out and tell the world of His love, His
mercy, and His grace. ‘I can do all things
through Christ Jesus, who strengthens me’ (Phil
4:13).
Vision
Our vision and the long term goal
for
NWOLM
is to start ‘The Cornerstone House’
transitional center for men and
eventually women who are coming out
of prison and want to find a better
way. We are looking to offer
resident programs of lengths from 6
months to 1 year. Anyone who enrolls
in one of our programs will get job
training, learn new life skills,
basic computer skills, and of course
they will receive Christian
discipleship designed to help them
establish a personal relationship
with the One True Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. We believe that He
alone has the power to make a new
person both spiritually and
mentally. Those who will not turn
from their former ways under the
direction of the Holy Spirit are
doomed to continue to repeat their
mistakes and never break free of the
bondage that enslaves so many
people. We are set on seeing
Righteous men and women of God step
out as productive members of
society, new soldiers who can carry
the message on to others that life
doesn’t have to spend in chains of
darkness. There is a light, and that
light is Jesus. Our will is His
will. We are also trying to open a
thrift Store to meet the needs of
the many people we come in contact
with everyday. |
